What is the processor's generation?

Another issue in the case of computer processors is generation. Most of the time we hear about 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th generation laptops. The higher the generation of the processor, the less power the processor consumes and the more powerful the processor. Because as the generation is updated, the processor's chips become smaller. As a result, the processor can work more without wasting less energy and consuming less charge on the laptop battery. Currently 9th and 10th generation laptops are more popular. However, the higher the generation, the higher the price of the laptop.

2. RAM

RAM is another important part of laptops. If the RAM is less than the demand of the laptop processor, the laptop will not get good speed despite having a good quality processor. That's why considering the power of the processor, the RAM of the laptop is more or less.

If you buy a Core i3 laptop, you must buy a laptop with 4 GB RAM. But if you buy a laptop with Core i5 processor, you must buy a laptop with 8 GB and in case of Core i7 processor, you must buy a laptop with 16 GB RAM. Also, in case of 8th, 9th and 10th generation laptops, you must buy a laptop with DDR4 RAM. This is because DDR4 RAM is more powerful and faster than other RAMs.

3. Rome (hard disk)

The permanent memory of a computer is called a hard disk drive. All our files are stored on this hard disk. At the same time all the system software of the laptop is installed on the C drive of the hard disk of the laptop. We ordinary users do not pay much attention to the hard disk of the laptop. Normally we are happy when we get 1TB hard disk in our laptop.

But what we don't know is that the speed of a laptop depends on the combination of the hard disk, processor and RAM of the laptop. If any one of these three parts is weak, you will not get the expected speed from your laptop. So not only do you have to have a large hard disk, you also have to have a good quality hard disk.

There are currently two types of hard disks available in the market. One is Hard Disck Drive (HDD) and the other is Solide State Drive (SSD). SSDs are done much faster than an HDD. Normally the speed of an HDD is a little over 100MB, but the speed of an SSD is around 600MB. Moreover, there is another type of SSD in the current market called NVME M.2 which has a speed of much more than 4GB.
